Based on a true story, FREE ME (Original works, research written by Magunga Williams ) follows the life of one woman from her teenagehood to adulthood and integrates her life as it happens. In her early twenties, she gets married which turns out to be extremely violent. It explores her resilience and her survival instincts, giving a voice to the pain that too often remains hidden because of shame and the victory of being free. The title, goes both ways: it is a desperate cry for help and a victory anthem for someone who made it out alive.
